Available Models

We are proud to announce new rolling stock 16mm models that are available for the new year, 2013. All are gauge adjustable between 32mm and 45mm gauge unless otherwise specified. Our current models are listed below and prices are a basic guide but we are usually flexible when it comes to prices so contact us if you see something you are interested in. Most models are built in single quantities so make sure to let us know if you are interested in anything paticular. If the photographs dont load contact us and we would be happy to send you images.

This small 3 sided wagon is based around a Binnie Engineering skip chassis and may be suitable for 7/8ths scale as well as 16mm. It was lightly weathered, given a running number, and includes a small non working hand brake. It wood look at home in a quarry or as an inspectors wagon. It includes a load of two wooden barrels, a open box of coal, and two granite slabs (not pictured). It is gauge adjustable. The base price for this model with load is 20 GBP.


This small oil wagon is based off a Binnie Engineering skip and is gauge adjustable and may be suitable for 7/8ths scale as well as 16mm scale. It is lightly weathered and would look at home in any quarry scene.


This small flat wagon or plateway wagon is based off a Binnie Engineering skip and is gauge adjustable and may be suitable for 7/8ths scale as well as 16mm scale. It is lightly weatherd, has a planked floor, and would look at home in any quarry scene. It comes with a load of aged wood and a small chain to secure it.


Three Plank Open Wagon - This wagon is a heavily modified IP Engineering kit that was built and modified here in our workshop to a certain specification. It has large wooden dumb buffers and central coupling and white metal corner castings on the body. It is finished in a cream livery with accents picked out in a matte black. The wheels are diminutive quarry style wheels that rest in white metal quarry style axel boxes. The wagon has a tarpaulin cover held down by real scale rusty chains. The whole wagon was then lightly weathered. This model would look right at home in a quarry scene and wood look great with transfers or lettering.


Covered Goods Van - This van is a heavily modified IP Engineering kit that was built and modified here in our workshop to a certain specification. It haswooden dumb buffers and central couplings. It is finished in a brown livery with accents picked out in a matte black. The wheels are diminutive quarry style wheels that rest in white metal quarry style axel boxes and a detailed non-working brake gear. Then it was lightly weathered and would look at home in any quarry scene. It has a formed aluminum roof. 


Single Window Ended Gaurds Van - This Gaurds van loosely resembles the Corris brake van that is owned by the Talyllyn Railway, with a single end window, sliding door on one side, full length footsteps, and horizontal exposed planking on the other side. The body is painted in an oxide red-brown, the roof in a cream, and the underframes in black. It has double oval headed side buffers and central hoop couplings. It is pictured without wheels but will include spoked gauge adjustable wheels.


We can also now create handmade buffer stops of all wood construction suitable for either 32mm gauge or 45mm gauge.
